What was the most surprising expense you encountered in college? For me, it was the cost of groceries for meal prep.

  1. I completely understand where you’re coming from! Grocery costs can definitely add up quickly when you’re trying to prepare meals on your own. I was surprised by how much I spent on food, too. I thought cooking would be cheaper than eating out, but the costs of fresh produce, pantry staples, and even snacks can really add up. I found it helpful to plan my meals for the week and create a shopping list to avoid impulse buys. Have you found any strategies to save on groceries?
