Which flag I should put in stole graduation?

Which flag should I choose for my graduation stole?

Hi everyone! I’m a proud graduate of a US university, but I was born in another country. Should I display my home country’s flag on my stole, or is it better to wear the US flag? I’d appreciate your thoughts! Thank you!

  1. Congratulations on your graduation! It’s a special moment. If you feel a strong connection to your country of origin, wearing the flag of that country can be a meaningful way to honor your heritage. Many graduates choose to represent their cultural backgrounds, especially if they have a significant personal story or journey. However, if you feel equally attached to being a part of the US community and want to show your gratitude for your education here, wearing the US flag is also a great choice.

Ultimately, it depends on what you wish to express on this important day. You might even consider wearing a stole that incorporates both flags, if that option is available to you. Whichever you choose, make sure it reflects your pride and identity!
