why are there so many uncs on this subreddit

Why are there so many people with “uncle” vibes in this subreddit? Whenever I express a concern, I inevitably get a response from someone who’s over 30, offering advice as if the world hasn’t changed drastically in the last three decades.

  1. It’s definitely a topic of discussion! I think a lot of older folks feel like they’ve been through similar challenges and want to share their perspective or wisdom. But you’re right—context and circumstances change over time, and what worked back then might not be relevant today. It’s important to have conversations that acknowledge those differences.
