Ok here’s a grand idea all schools should implement

Revitalizing Morning Routines: A Bold Proposal for Schools

In observing workplace routines, I’ve noticed a pattern: employees often arrive exhausted, seeking quick boosts of energy through energy drinks, cigarettes, or other stimulants. Many start their day battling fatigue with greasy breakfast items from food trucks. Surprisingly, within about half an hour, they seem re-energized, ready to tackle their tasks with renewed vigor.

This observation sparked a thought: why can’t schools adopt a similar approach to energize students at the start of their day? Imagine allowing students to grab quick, accessible snacks from local food trucks or nearby convenience stores upon arrival. Once nourished and refreshed, students would be more alert, attentive, and ready to learn.

Transforming the morning routine in schools to resemble a bustling construction site—where energy and activity are high from the get-go—could have positive effects on student engagement and overall performance.

Certainly, this concept would require careful planning and consideration of health and safety standards. However, the idea of creating an environment that promotes natural, immediate energy boosts might be the key to a more vibrant and attentive classroom atmosphere.

Let’s rethink the way we start our school days—perhaps a little more “construction site” energy is just what students need to thrive.
