Ok here’s a grand idea all schools should implement

Revamping School Mornings: A Fresh Approach to Student Engagement

In observing the routines of some hardworking professionals, I’ve noticed a pattern worth considering. Many laborers arrive at their worksites visibly exhausted, yet after consuming energy drinks and snacks—from Monster or Redbull to cigarettes and dip—they seem to regain their vitality. A hearty breakfast from a food truck often accompanies this boost, resulting in a renewed burst of energy a short while later.

Imagine if schools adopted a similar approach. Instead of the typical morning routines, what if we integrated a more energizing start? For instance, allowing students to access food trucks or nearby convenience stores at the beginning of the day could set a dynamic tone. Fresh snacks and drinks could help students shake off morning sluggishness and jump into their lessons with enthusiasm.

Within about thirty minutes of this unconventional start, students might find themselves more alert, focused, and ready to engage. It’s about creating an environment that mimics the invigorating buzz of a construction site—where movement, energy, and a bit of chaos kickoff the day.

While unconventional, rethinking how we start our mornings could foster a more lively, attentive classroom atmosphere. Sometimes, a fresh, spirited approach is just what education needs to energize young minds and boost productivity.
