why am I not hit on?

Why isn’t anyone hitting on me?

Here’s a little background: I’m a teenager and I think I have a decent appearance—I have dimples and wear glasses. The only thing is, I’m quite tall, taller than most guys.

Almost all of my friends have been hit on and many are in relationships, so I’m really confused about why I’m not getting any attention. I believe I have a nice personality; I’m a math enthusiast and have even created a couple of apps. It just baffles me that people don’t seem to notice me or tell me I’m cute.

I’ve made an effort to connect with guys, but I’ve faced rejection from a few, leaving me feeling uncertain about what could be wrong.

Is there something about me that puts people off?

  1. First of all, it’s completely normal to feel confused about dating and relationships, especially as a teenager. Many people experience similar feelings at your age, so you’re not alone in wondering why you aren’t being hit on.

There are a few reasons why you might not be getting as much attention, and it’s important to remember that it doesn’t reflect your worth. Here are some things to consider:

    1. Individual Preferences: People are attracted to different qualities in others, and sometimes it’s just about personal preference. What some might find attractive, others might not.

    2. Confidence: Sometimes, if someone appears shy or unsure, it can make it harder for others to approach them. Working on building your confidence can make a big difference.

    3. Social Circles: If your social environment has different dynamics or if you’re not in settings where people tend to flirt or date, that could affect how often you’re approached.

    4. Timing: Dating and crushes can be random and often depend on timing. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.

    5. Be Open: Try to put yourself out there in different social situations where you can meet new people. Sometimes all it takes is a new setting or group for sparks to fly.

    6. Self-Reflection: It might help to think about the kind of person you want to attract and whether you’re putting out those vibes.

Remember, it’s not that there’s something “wrong” with you; it could just be a matter of finding the right connections. Keep being yourself and focusing on your passions, and don’t lose hope. The right people will notice you in time!

Do I like my teacher?

Do I have feelings for my teacher? Honestly, I hope not. I recently sent an anonymous letter of appreciation to a teacher I hadn’t thought much about, but somehow he figured out who I was. Now, whenever we interact, I feel this intense pressure to act like the ideal student rather than just doing what’s […]

Is anyone in DLSU? I’m looking for tips on the JHS entrance exam. What subjects should I focus on? Is the MSA reviewer helpful? Also, how many questions are typically on the exam? Thanks!
