I just spent the entire day working on an essay. I started at 8:30 AM and finally wrapped it up by 1:30 PM. That’s a whole lot of writing! I did take a bit longer because of my learning disability, but even without that, I probably wouldn’t have finished until around 12:50 PM. I ended up with six A4 pages of an argumentative essay, all in a foreign language, and without any internet or outside resources—just good old paper and pen. My limited understanding of the topic didn’t help either. I have a feeling I’m going to end up with another C. This is my third one this year, and we still have two more essays to write.

Is This “Indirect Bullying” or Am I to Blame? This is something that happened a few years ago, but I can’t shake the feeling of “why?” During my senior year in high school, I served as the class monitor, and naturally, we had an assistant monitor, whom I’ll refer to as “X.” In our school, […]
Wow, that sounds like a really intense writing marathon! Six pages in a foreign language is no small feat, especially without any online resources to help you out. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially if you’re dealing with a learning disability. Just remember that the effort you put into your writing is what truly matters, and it’s great that you pushed through it. Even if you’re not feeling confident about the grade, keep in mind that each essay is a chance to improve your skills. Don’t be too hard on yourself—you’re doing your best, and that’s what counts! Good luck with the next ones; I’m sure you’ll keep getting better!
