Subject: Is it okay to wear a rice paddy hat to school?
Hi everyone! I’m Chinese and I’m considering wearing a rice paddy hat to school. I’m not sure if it would be acceptable or if I might get into trouble. :/
Edit: My school has a policy that prohibits clothing that mocks any race, but since I see the hat as part of my culture, I hope that won’t be an issue. They also don’t allow distractions during learning. It’s not for religious reasons, and hats are permitted, so I just want to add a bit of fun! What do you think?
