Help me: Google classroom related

I need some assistance with Google Classroom. If a student edits their comment on a discussion post made by the teacher, is there a way for the teacher to see when the comment was edited?

Does a timeline appear showing the edit date and time, or will there be a notification? Thank you!

  1. In Google Classroom, when a student edits their comment in a discussion post, the teacher will not receive a specific notification or timeline showing when the comment was edited. However, the edited comment will usually indicate that it has been changed, often with an “edited” label next to it. Teachers can see the edited comment, but they won’t get detailed information about the original comment or the exact time it was edited. If you need to know when changes were made, it’s a good idea to encourage students to be clear in their comments or to keep their edits to a minimum.
