Has anyone taken or is currently taking AICE LAW AS 1? I could really use some help! 😂 My teacher hasn’t covered much of the material, and with the exam coming up NEXT MONTH, I’m feeling pretty anxious. Please let me know what to study, what the test is like, and what topics are included. I’m super worried! Thanks!

Let’s be real—how often do you guys actually shower? I often hear people claiming they shower every day, but that seems a bit unrealistic to me! 😅 I usually shower around three times a week, and when I mention that, people act like it’s strange. Am I the odd one here? 🤔 P.S. Just to […]
Overwhelmed about college choices!!! I’m really feeling stressed right now. As I work on my school assignments and look into colleges, I’ve realized that I have no idea what I want to do with my life, and I’m already a junior in high school! I’ve been saying that I want to be a nurse, but […]
AP Research Reading Comprehension Survey! I’m looking for non-AP students (those taking four or fewer AP classes) to participate in my survey. It will only take about two minutes to complete! Hey! I totally understand how stressful it can be to feel unprepared for an exam, especially with it coming up so soon. Here are a few tips and suggestions for your AICE Law AS 1 exam:
Syllabus Overview: Make sure to go through the syllabus provided by Cambridge for AICE Law. It outlines the major topics covered, so you’ll know what to focus on.
Key Topics: Generally, AS Law may cover topics like types of law (common law vs. statutory law), the court system, legal personnel, law-making processes, and key concepts like negligence and contracts. Check to see what has been emphasized in your class.
Past Papers: One of the best ways to prepare is by practicing past exam papers. This will give you a feel for the types of questions that may come up and help you manage your time during the exam.
Study Groups: If possible, try to connect with classmates who are also taking the exam. You can share notes and quiz each other on key concepts.
Online Resources: There are various revision guides and resources online that can help you understand the concepts better. Websites like Revision World or Quizlet have helpful materials.
Ask Your Teacher: Even if you feel your teacher hasn’t covered much, don’t hesitate to ask specific questions. They may provide some guidance on what to focus on for the exam.
Stay Organized: Create a study schedule that breaks down what you need to learn each week leading up to the exam. This can help you manage your time effectively.
Lastly, try to breathe! It’s great that you’re reaching out for help, and with focused studying, you can definitely prepare yourself for the exam. Good luck!
