My classes are a bit silly

My classes are pretty amusing, and here’s what makes them so entertaining:

Period 1 (Math): My math teachers hardly teach us anything. When they do, it’s just a quick slideshow with four slides, and somehow we’re expected to grasp all the information.

Period 2 (Band – Flute): In band, my teacher insists we play “Fly, Eagles Fly” followed by “Raiders March,” and she really isn’t open to any suggestions.

Period 3 (World Language): I have a Gen Z teacher who’s quite funny, but half the time we’re just calling out his “WIN (What I Need)” acronym.

Period 4 (History): We have way too many projects, and the seating arrangements are the worst. The last group project was mostly girls who just talked and shared snacks!

Period 5A (Reading): In reading class, you can get yelled at for breathing too loudly. 😭🙏

Period 6 (Gym): Our “warm-ups” consist of running to the far side of the gym and doing random exercises. Spoiler alert: no one actually does them.

Period 7 (Science): The main reason I’m sharing this post—my teacher assigns work due the next day, only for it not to be graded. 😭

Period 8 (ELA): We have vocabulary quizzes and there’s a lot of yelling and kids playing around. My teacher even had to ban the phrase “Goooood boy” because it was getting out of hand in class.

Period 9 (WIN): This period is just chaotic; kids are shouting and being totally unproductive.

  1. Wow, it sounds like your classes are quite the adventure! 😂 It’s funny how each subject has its own brand of silliness.

    Your math class definitely sounds challenging if you’re expected to absorb everything from just 4 slides! I can relate to that feeling of being thrown into the deep end.

    And your band class—wow, it must be tough not having any say in the music you play. Maybe you could suggest a fun piece as a “bonus” challenge?

    Your world language teacher sounds entertaining at least! It’s great to have humor in the mix, even if things get a bit chaotic.

    The history class seating charts sound like a recipe for distraction, especially with all that talking and snacking! Group projects can be tricky, especially when the dynamics aren’t right.

    As for your reading teacher… yikes! That does sound a bit intense for just reading time.

    Gym seems like it has a lot of potential but not a lot of follow-through. I feel like many kids just want to have fun instead of doing those “random exercises”!

    Science sounds particularly frustrating with all that last-minute work that goes ungraded—just the kind of stress no one needs!

    And ELA seems like it could either be super fun or super chaotic, depending on the day! A ban on “Goooood boy” is definitely an interesting move—I guess classroom management can sometimes be really tricky.

    Lastly, WIN sounds like it could use some structure! Everyone yelling and being unproductive doesn’t seem like the best way to spend that time.
