Should I be concerned about AI checkers?
As someone who takes pride in my writing skills, I recently completed a history essay that I spent a lot of time on and am quite pleased with. However, when I went to submit it on Canvas, I noticed a checkbox indicating that my essay would be analyzed by Turnitin. To my shock, it flagged my work as 97% AI-generated.

One checker even indicated a high likelihood of plagiarism while reporting zero AI generation. This inconsistency has me really anxious that when I submit my essay, it might falsely indicate to my professor that it was created by AI. Is there anything I can do about this situation?
