My friend keeps drinking all my water

My friend keeps stealing my water!

So, my friend and I usually chat during fourth period (which is art), but I’ve noticed that he drinks way too much from my water bottle. It starts out at about 3/4 full, and by the time he’s done, it’s down to 1/4 or even 2/4! My mom doesn’t want him drinking from my bottle because she thinks it’s gross. I’ve asked him to stop, but he just won’t listen. Even if I have some left, he guzzles it all during sixth period. He does this to other friends too, and I really need some advice on what to do! (By the way, I’ve been trying to hide my water bottle from him.)

  1. It sounds really frustrating to deal with a friend who doesn’t respect your things! Have you tried setting some clear boundaries with him? Maybe you could explain to him that you need your water for yourself and that your mom is uncomfortable with him drinking from your bottle. You could also suggest that he brings his own water bottle or you could even offer to share if he’s really thirsty, but make it clear that you still need yours for yourself. Hiding your water bottle is a good temporary fix, but having an honest conversation might be the best way to solve the problem in the long run! Good luck!

Will abolishing the DOE (dept of edu) do anything?

Would eliminating the Department of Education make a difference? Classes would continue, but hopefully with a more straightforward approach. I’ve never understood why elementary schools assign homework; I didn’t receive my first assignment until 3rd or 4th grade, not in 1st or 2nd grade. It seems odd to me. Also, why is MLA format important […]

Are you living next to your child’s school? We recently relocated to a new neighborhood, and my 4-year-old will be attending the school right next door. We’ve weighed the downsides, like traffic and noise, but I’m intrigued by how living so close to school might affect my child. Since everyone at school will know exactly […]
