My attendance is currently at 72%, and I understand that many teachers might think I’m skipping classes for fun. However, the reality is that I’ve been in the hospital after a suicide attempt, and unfortunately, I’m facing a lot of bullying at school. On Monday, I returned for just one hour after being absent for two weeks, and as soon as the test was over, I quickly left because the kids were really cruel and somehow learned about what I went through. They started following me, and I ended up just running out. I’m planning to go back tomorrow, but honestly, I’m feeling really anxious about it.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through this. It’s incredibly brave of you to share your experience, and it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Your health and well-being come first, so please take care of yourself. If you feel safe, consider talking to a trusted teacher or counselor about what’s happening; they might be able to help. You deserve support, not judgment. Just know that you are strong for continuing to face these challenges, and you have every right to be in a safe and supportive environment. Take it one step at a time, and remember to reach out if you need someone to talk to.
