I just finished my freshman year of college. I graduated high school a year earlier than my peers and decided to attend my local CC (I need to save money). I learned a lot during this year, even though I didn’t feel as prepared as I should have been. I was ridiculed by my dad’s family for attending a CC, and I really felt down for a while. Jumping in blind was tough for me, but I learned a lot. I learned how to time manage classes while working a job, and learned more effective ways to study. I have a 3.5 GPA as it stands right now, which I am not too proud of, but I suppose as I go on, I will continue to grow. During the summer, I will begin EMT training and will take 19 credits in the fall. Wish me luck!
