A girl is always asking for my presence like literally [I’m not threatened in any way]

Unexpected Interest from a Classmate: Navigating New Experiences

Recently, I’ve noticed a peculiar change in the dynamics with a girl from my class. She’s been consistently reaching out, genuinely seeking my company—something that caught me off guard. Let me clarify: I don’t feel threatened or uncomfortable; rather, I’m simply puzzled by this newfound attention.

A few months back, this girl—who happens to rank at the top of our class—began showing an interest in spending time with me. It’s not something I anticipated, and honestly, I’m trying to understand what’s happening here.

To paint a picture: she’s truly a remarkable individual—beautiful, attentive to the small gestures I do, and genuinely kind. She possesses many qualities that are admirable. Meanwhile, I often find myself just an average student with less-than-stellar grades, a simple appearance, and a laid-back attitude, often just going with the flow during school hours.

Now that summer vacation has arrived here in the Philippines, I can’t help but wonder—if this continued attention is just a summer thing or something more. It’s an interesting situation, and I’m curious to see how things unfold.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever experienced something similar during school breaks?
