However, during their senior year, their college application process was limited to only two institutions: Saint Peter’s University and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Unfortunately, despite their efforts, they faced rejection. With subsequent deadlines for other colleges already passed, their remaining option was Saint Peter’s University. Initially, their goal was to attend community college for a year or two and then transfer to Stevens, viewing this as a strategic step toward achieving their dream school.
