Should I just get an associates instead of a degree? Will there be jobs i can get with one?

Should I consider pursuing an associate’s degree instead of a full bachelor’s degree? Are there job opportunities available with that qualification?

I’m currently in my second year (fourth semester) and I’m really struggling. I know the middle years are tough for a lot of students, but I’m starting to feel overwhelmed. I’ve never been particularly strong academically; I wasn’t a great high school student, either. Honestly, I’d prefer to work rather than continue with school. My parents want me to graduate with a degree, but I’ve been thinking about opting for an associate’s degree in arts along with a GIS certificate, especially since I’ve already completed some of the requirements and enjoyed those classes.

Should I stick it out for my degree, or is finishing earlier a better option? Will an associate’s degree and a GIS certificate help me find a job?
