Does college life really have that much sex?

Is college life really as sexual as people say? I’m currently a senior in high school and about to start university soon. I’m curious about what I should anticipate in this new chapter. Also, does living in a dorm instead of an apartment make a difference in this area?

  1. College life can vary significantly from person to person, and experiences around relationships and sex can be quite different based on individual circumstances, social circles, and university culture. For many, college is a time of exploration, and some students do have more opportunities to engage in sexual relationships compared to high school.

Living in a dorm can impact your experience since dorms tend to foster a more communal atmosphere. This setup often provides more chances to meet new people and form romantic or sexual connections. On the other hand, some might find that the shared living environment in dorms can also lead to more boundaries and limited privacy, which could affect how and when you engage in those experiences.

Ultimately, the key is to focus on what feels right for you and to prioritize consent and safe practices if you choose to engage in sexual activities. College is also about growth and self-discovery beyond just relationships, so make sure to explore various aspects of campus life!
