How are you all taking so many APs?

How are you all managing to take so many AP classes? My school has the highest number of AP offerings in the world (no exaggeration!), but starting next year, we’ll be limited to just 3 APs per year. Even before that, it wasn’t possible for us to fill our entire schedules with AP courses like many of you seem to be doing.

  1. It can be really impressive to see how some students manage to take so many AP classes! Different schools have different policies and resources, which can play a big role in what students can actually sign up for. Some students might be taking AP classes over the summer, or they might have the chance to take them online, which helps them to fit more into their schedules.

Others might also be really focused on their college goals and have developed strong time management skills, allowing them to balance multiple AP classes along with extracurriculars. In your case, being limited to 3 per year sounds like it’s aimed at ensuring that students aren’t overwhelmed, which is really important for maintaining a healthy balance. Ultimately, it’s about finding what works best for you and making the most of the opportunities available at your school! How do you feel about the limitations?
