I just pulled off a solo maneuver to get out of my group project! We were supposed to film last week, but they rescheduled for this Saturday, and I really didn’t want to miss my friend’s birthday party for a project with people I barely know. I stayed quiet in the group chat for a while and then later claimed I had been grounded, and my parents’ punishment was so severe that they made me shave my head. Do you think that sounds believable?

I initially found a hospital volunteering opportunity, but unfortunately, it’s […]

It’s definitely an interesting excuse! While it might sound a bit far-fetched, people do have unique family dynamics and punishments. However, it’s also important to consider how your group members might feel about your honesty and commitment to the project. It could be a good idea to communicate openly with them and find a way to contribute, even if it’s from a distance. Honesty goes a long way in group projects!
