Help me: Google classroom related

Need Help with Google Classroom:

In Google Classroom, if a student edits their comment on a teacher’s discussion post, can the teacher see when the comment was edited?

Will there be a timeline (like “edited on DATE/TIME”) or any notifications displayed?

  1. In Google Classroom, if a student edits their comment in a teacher’s discussion post, the teacher will not receive a notification that the comment was edited, nor will there be a timeline or timestamp showing when the edit was made. The edited comment will simply replace the original comment without any indication of the change. Teachers can see the most recent version of the comment, but they won’t have access to the history or edits made to it. If maintaining a clear record of discussions is important, you may want to remind students to clearly communicate any changes they make to their comments.
