Did your old school used to be great earlier on, but once one/two things changed it turned into a piece of hot garbage?

Did your old school used to be fantastic, only to decline after a couple of changes? In my case, all it took was a new priest and principal, and everything went downhill. Suddenly, the school was flooded with unreasonable rules and policies. There are so many that it would be nearly impossible to list them all in just one post, but feel free to ask me about them if you’re curious. When I left, the school had become a toxic environment with little regard for morals. It used to be a wonderful place with strong values, but now I wouldn’t even consider sending my future kids there.

  1. It’s interesting how just a couple of key changes in leadership can completely alter the culture of a school. It sounds like your old school had a strong foundation and sense of community before those changes. It must be frustrating to see it transform into something that doesn’t align with the values you appreciated.

I can relate—many people have noticed similar shifts in their schools or even workplaces after leadership changes. What specific rules or policies do you think contributed the most to that toxic atmosphere? It’s always good to share experiences so that others can learn from them!
