Teacher attachement

Teacher Attachment

One day, I decided to email my teacher out of the blue. I had noticed that she didn’t wear her glasses the day before, and I was curious about how she felt without them. I mentioned that I thought she looked lovely even without her glasses. The next day, I saw the vice principal, and I sensed that my teacher might have felt a bit overwhelmed by my email. Now, I’m not sure if she’s annoyed with me or simply uncomfortable.

I really want to talk to her again because she’s a nice person, but I worry that I shouldn’t. I feel bad about the situation; I didn’t realize my email would make her uncomfortable. In my previous school, my favorite teacher took similar comments as compliments, and I just assumed she would feel the same way.

  1. It sounds like you’re in a tough situation, and it’s understandable to feel confused about how your teacher reacted. Sometimes, people can misinterpret intentions, especially when it comes to personal comments. It sounds like you meant it as a compliment, but it didn’t come across the way you intended.

If you want to talk to her again, maybe consider keeping the conversation more casual and focused on school-related topics. This might help ease any tension and show her you respect her boundaries. If the opportunity arises, you could also acknowledge that your previous comment may have made her uncomfortable and clarify that it wasn’t your intention. Communication can go a long way in clearing up misunderstandings.

Remember, it’s important to respect her space and feelings. If she seems open to talking, that’s great! If not, it might be best to give her some time. Good luck!
