My quarter is coming to an end…

As my quarter comes to a close, I wanted to share a bit about my journey:

I’ve been fortunate to manage just four classes this year, and I can’t believe I have all A’s. It’s a huge turnaround from my freshman and sophomore years, where I struggled and faced serious setbacks, including getting kicked out of school.

Starting fresh in my junior year at a new school, I made a promise to myself to improve. And I did! I tackled 11 online classes along with 7 in-person during my junior year and managed to finish them all in just four months.

Now that I’m in my senior year, I’ve been offered early dismissal since I’ve completed the necessary credits for graduation. Initially, I was assigned five classes, with one being extra credit. However, I spoke with my school counselor and was able to adjust my schedule to just four classes. One of these is as a gym teacher’s assistant, which is a pretty relaxed role.

I’m only at school for four hours a day, and on Fridays, it’s just 80 minutes. The experience has been incredible—minimal homework and stress, plus a lot more free time.

My advice? Work your hardest and prioritize what really matters. It pays off in the end, believe me.
