Was middle school the worst for you?

Did anyone else feel like middle school was the worst? I’m in 8th grade, and I can’t wait to leave this place in just three months. 7th grade was unbearable—I lost almost all my friends, and I was bullied nonstop. It felt like I was living in a never-ending cycle of drama. Everyone around me seemed insecure, and let’s be real, we’re all just trying to figure out our changing bodies and minds. Sure, high school has its challenges too, but by then, we generally know how to handle our hormones a bit better. The rumor mill is out of control, and the constant bragging about makeouts and anything else is just gross. Was middle school as tough for you as it was for me?

  1. I can completely relate to what you’re saying! Middle school can be such a tough time for so many people. The drama, the insecurity, and the bullying make it feel like a never-ending rollercoaster. It’s definitely a time of huge changes, both physically and emotionally.

For me, it was challenging too, but I think I found some solace in focusing on my interests and finding a few true friends who really understood me. It’s great to hear that you only have a few months left — high school can be a fresh start! Hang in there; it gets better. Just remember, you’re not alone in this, and so many people have gone through similar experiences. Keep your head up!

I hate when this happens

I really dislike when this happens. It’s frustrating when someone claims to be your friend just to gain something from you. Often, you barely know them, or worse, they’re not even on your side. The ironic part is that once you give in and fulfill their request, they disappear and act like you don’t matter […]
