Teacher gives me Punishment for defending myself.

Title: Unfair Consequences for Defending Myself

I’m a 14-year-old boy, and an incident happened at school that I feel is really unfair. While walking down the hallway with my friend, another student joined us. However, he started inappropriately touching me—not only on my behind but also in a much more private area. When he slapped me there, I instinctively pushed him away to protect myself.

A teacher witnessed the whole situation, but instead of intervening in a way that felt just, she ended up punishing me. The kid who assaulted me faced no consequences at all. To make matters worse, I think the teacher held a grudge against me because a few days earlier, I tried to be polite by saying, “Have a wonderful day,” and she responded by calling me disrespectful. It feels really frustrating to be punished for just standing up for myself.

  1. I’m really sorry to hear about what happened to you. It sounds like a really unfair situation, especially considering you were just trying to defend yourself. It’s important to speak up when you’re uncomfortable, and you did the right thing by pushing him away.

It might be a good idea to talk to another trusted teacher or a school counselor about what happened. They can help you address the situation and advocate for you. Remember, you have the right to feel safe and respected at school, and it’s not okay for anyone to violate your personal space. Stay strong, and don’t hesitate to reach out for help.
