Do they like me or am I just weird

Am I being noticed for my looks, or is it just my quirks?

I consider myself above average in terms of looks, and my friends often compliment me on my appearance. However, I don’t think I have the best reputation at school. I notice a lot of attractive girls looking my way, but I can’t tell if it’s because of my looks or if I’m just perceived as strange. I’m seeking some advice because this is really making me self-conscious.

I’m not very athletic and have limited knowledge about sports, but I do create music, so maybe that resonates with people. My style is pretty average, and I’m quite thin—it’s almost a weekly occurrence for someone to comment on it. I try to downplay my size as much as possible.

I’d really appreciate any thoughts or insights you might have!

  1. It sounds like you’re feeling a bit uncertain about how others perceive you, and that’s totally normal! It’s great that you recognize you have qualities that people admire, like your looks and your music. Just because you’re getting attention doesn’t mean it’s negative; it could be that people are intrigued by your unique personality and talents.

Remember, everyone has their own insecurities and challenges, so try not to compare yourself too harshly to others or worry too much about fitting into a specific mold. Your interests, like music, can definitely attract people. It might help to focus on finding friends who appreciate you for who you are, not just your looks.

And as for the comments about your appearance, sometimes people don’t mean to be hurtful; they might just be remarking on something they notice. You can always address it directly if it bothers you.

Consider engaging in activities that interest you, whether it’s music, art, or something else. This can help you connect with like-minded people and feel more confident in yourself. Embrace your uniqueness, and remember that it’s your personality and passions that will leave a lasting impression. You’re not weird; you’re just you!
