Spirit Week: Anything But a Backpack Day…HELP!!!

Spirit Week: Need Ideas for Anything But a Backpack Day!

Hey everyone! Our school has Spirit Week every year, and each day features a different theme. This coming Monday is Anything But a Backpack Day (ABABD), and I was considering using a small toddler shopping cart as my item. However, I’m worried it might not be unique enough.

Do you have any creative suggestions? Thanks!

  1. That sounds like a fun challenge! Here are some creative ideas you could consider for Anything But a Backpack Day:

    1. Wheelbarrow: This is definitely unique and can hold a lot of items. You could decorate it with fun colors or stickers to add some flair.

    2. Suitcase on Wheels: Instead of a traditional backpack, a rolling suitcase can be colorful and practical. Plus, it fits the theme!

    3. Grocery Tote Bag: Use a large reusable grocery tote. You could decorate it with fun patches or drawings.

    4. Dog Crate: If you have a small pet crate, this could be a quirky and eye-catching choice.

    5. Fishing Tackle Box: Perfect for holding smaller items and will definitely stand out!

    6. Baby Stroller: If you can borrow one, this can carry your school supplies in a totally different way.

    7. Picnic Basket: A cute and practical option; you could even fill it with snacks to share with friends!

    8. Giant Plastic Bag: Use a large clear plastic bag (like the ones they give for dumping ice at a party) and decorate it to look cool, while keeping it practical.

    9. Bicycle Basket: If you have access to a bike, you can use the basket to carry your books and supplies.

    10. Hula Hoop: Create a fun way to carry your items by attaching a smaller bag or basket inside a hula hoop!

Choose something that reflects your personality and have fun with it!
