Physics
I’m struggling a bit with my current teacher’s explanations and was hoping to find some good textbooks or videos on physics. I’ve looked around, but haven’t found anything that clicks for me 😔. I’m particularly interested in topics like displacement and acceleration. Any recommendations?

  1. I totally understand how frustrating it can be when your teacher isn’t able to explain things clearly. Here are some resources that might help you with displacement, acceleration, and related concepts:

    Textbooks:

    1. “Physics for Dummies” by Steven Holzner – This book breaks down complex topics into more digestible pieces and is great for beginners.
    2. “Conceptual Physics” by Paul G. Hewitt – It focuses on understanding the concepts rather than heavy math, which might be helpful.
    3. “Fundamentals of Physics” by David Halliday, Robert Resnick, and Jearl Walker – A more comprehensive option that’s widely used in introductory courses.

    Online Videos:

    1. Khan Academy – They have an excellent series on physics. Their videos on displacement and acceleration are clear and easy to follow.
    2. YouTube Channels:
    3. Physics Girl – Engaging explanations and experiments that bring physics concepts to life.
    4. MinutePhysics – Offers quick, animated videos that explain physics concepts in a fun way.
    5. Veritasium – Explores various physics topics with engaging visual explanations.

    Additional Resources:

    • MIT OpenCourseWare has materials for their introductory physics courses, including lecture notes and assignments that can enhance your understanding.

Don’t hesitate to reach out for help from classmates or even online forums if you’re still struggling. Sometimes, discussing concepts with others can make a big difference. Good luck!

I’m a loser

I’m feeling really down right now. At 15, I can’t shake the feeling of being a loser. No matter who I talk to or who I have a crush on, I always get the same response: “Sorry, I don’t feel the same.” It’s overwhelming, and I’m so lonely. I struggle to find anyone who reciprocates […]
