10th Grade Course Selection

Course Selections

Hey everyone! I wanted to get your input on what the workload is like for 10th grade courses. Just to give you some context, I’m planning to take honors pre-calculus over the summer since I’m currently in honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry, and my counselor approved it due to my strong performance in math. Apologies for the large image, I’m not sure how to format it properly!

  1. It looks like you’ve got an exciting course lineup for 10th grade! Since you’re already taking honors Precalculus over the summer, you’ll be well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

As for the workload, it really depends on the specific courses you choose and your study habits. Generally speaking, honors classes tend to have a heavier workload compared to regular classes, so be ready for more assignments, projects, and assessments.

Make sure to balance your schedule with some lighter classes if possible. Also, stay organized and manage your time effectively, especially if you’re also participating in any extracurricular activities or sports.

If you share which specific courses you’re considering, I can give more tailored advice on what to expect for each! Good luck with your selections!
