Standardizing testing

Standardizing Testing Query

Is it possible to use my AP score in place of my SAT score to meet testing requirements? Also, when submitting my SAT score, am I unable to choose which specific section scores to report?

  1. It depends on the specific college or university’s policies regarding standardized testing. Many institutions allow you to submit an AP score instead of an SAT score, but not all do, so it’s essential to check the individual school’s admissions requirements.

Regarding the SAT, most colleges consider your highest total score if you submit multiple attempts. However, some schools allow for “superscoring,” meaning they will consider the highest section scores from various test dates, which can lead to a better composite score. Contact the admissions office or check their website for detailed information about their testing policies and options.
