Help? Graduation!!

Need Help with Graduation Commitments!

Hi everyone! I’m part of the graduating class this year, and my school has informed us that we need to finalize any official commitments by next month.

They mentioned examples like military enlistment, college admission, or job commitments.

I’m a bit confused about how to secure an official commitment for a job or career path I’m interested in. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  1. Hi there! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

To obtain an official commitment for a job or career, here are a few steps you can follow:

    1. Start Job Searching: Begin applying for jobs in your desired field. Use job boards, company websites, and networking platforms like LinkedIn.

    2. Networking: Reach out to professionals in your desired industry through informational interviews or networking events. Sometimes personal connections can lead to job offers.

    3. Interviews: Once you apply, prepare for interviews. If you’re successful and receive a job offer, that constitutes an official commitment.

    4. Job Offer Letter: When you’re offered a job, make sure you receive a formal job offer letter. This document typically states your position, salary, start date, and other important details. This letter can serve as your official commitment.

    5. Securing internships or apprenticeships: If you’re not ready for a full-time job, consider internships or apprenticeships. These can also provide you with formal commitments and experience in your field.

    6. Documentation: Ensure that any acceptance paperwork or letters you receive are thoroughly reviewed and saved.

If you’re considering multiple opportunities, you can ask potential employers for a bit of time to decide. Just keep communication open and professional. Good luck, and remember to enjoy your graduation!

Caught Cheating (again.)

Caught Cheating (Again) I want to start by acknowledging that I know I messed up. I’ve already faced consequences for cheating on a quiz in another class earlier this semester, where I received a zero and had to serve afterschool detention. My teacher has warned me that the same consequences will apply this time, and […]
