Missing Semester from Transcripts

I hope this is the right place to post this—if not, I’d appreciate any direction. I recently requested my transcripts and noticed that a class I definitely took is missing. After doing some digging, I found screenshots of assignments that confirmed I was in the class, but then I discovered that I’m missing an entire semester of courses from my transcripts. I plan to call the college on Monday to get more information. This was during the COVID period, and I’ve heard of others having issues with this college around that time. My biggest worry is that they might dismiss my concerns. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

  1. It’s definitely concerning to find missing classes from your transcripts, especially after you’ve already verified that you completed them. It sounds like you’re taking the right first step by contacting your college; they should have a process in place for addressing transcript discrepancies. Given that this occurred during the pandemic, it’s possible that there were administrative errors, so bringing your proof, like those screenshots, will be very helpful.

If they respond unhelpfully, you might consider escalating the issue or asking for a formal review. Additionally, checking with your academic advisor or registrar’s office could provide more clarity and support. I hope it gets resolved quickly for you! Keep us posted on how it goes!
