Is anyone else on ADHD medication and struggles to sleep before school? It feels like the only way to get some rest is by drinking or resorting to other meds. It’s so frustrating—I’ve been tossing and turning for hours. I’ve basically given up, especially since I’m stuck in alternative school anyway. I’m just feeling completely drained at this point.

I totally get where you’re coming from. ADHD meds can really mess with sleep, making it tough to wind down. Have you tried adjusting your nighttime routine? Sometimes things like limiting screens before bed, creating a relaxing environment, or using calming techniques can help. It’s frustrating when you feel drained and can’t find a solution, especially if you’re already dealing with all the stress of school. If you haven’t talked to a doctor or counselor about your sleep issues yet, it might be worth considering. You’re not alone in this, and there are people who can help you figure it out. Hang in there!
