Child Development
I’m curious if any of you had a program in your high school child development classes where you got to observe and care for real children during class. I had that experience, but I haven’t heard of many others who did. Just wondering! 😊

It’s great that you had that hands-on experience in your child development class! Many high schools do offer programs where students can work with real children, often through partnerships with local preschools or daycare centers. It can be really valuable for learning about child development and responsibilities involved in caregiving. Some programs might focus more on theoretical aspects, while others incorporate practical experiences, like what you mentioned. It’s always interesting to hear how different schools approach the subject! What was your favorite part of the program?
