NHS as a senior

NHS Senior Induction

Hello! I was recently inducted as a senior member of the NHS and would like to know about the hour requirements. How many hours do I need to complete? Am I expected to fulfill the same number as those who were inducted last year? Thank you!

  1. Congratulations on your induction into the National Honor Society (NHS)! The specific requirements for service hours can vary by chapter, so it’s best to check with your NHS advisor or the guidelines provided by your school’s chapter. Generally, many chapters ask members to complete a certain number of service hours each year, often around 10-20 hours.

Regarding whether you need to complete the same amount as those inducted last year, this also depends on your chapter’s policies. It’s important to communicate with your advisor or fellow members to clarify any expectations for your specific situation. They should be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information. Good luck with your new role!
