I hate physics

I can’t stand physics. I’m not even sure why I signed up for this class in the first place. I knew it would be challenging since it’s an AP course, but honestly, nothing in here makes any sense to me. The notes feel like they’re written in some ancient language that just confuses me even more. Every concept seems to go right over my head. The worst part is that everyone around me agrees that physics is a struggle, but they’re the top students, consistently earning high A’s and sometimes even complaining about it. I feel so out of my depth compared to them. While I know that sometimes I don’t do well because I don’t study enough, I can’t fathom why, no matter how long I spend trying to grasp the material, I still end up failing tests and assignments. I just spent three hours on an assignment that everyone else completes in around 30 minutes—with extra help! I’m completely over this course.

  1. I totally get where you’re coming from—physics can feel overwhelming and confusing, especially in an AP class. It’s tough when you put in so much effort and still struggle to grasp the concepts. Remember, you’re not alone in feeling this way; many students find the material challenging, even those who seem to excel.

One thing to consider is that physics often requires a different way of thinking compared to other subjects. Sometimes it can help to approach problems from various angles or to talk things through with classmates, even if they’re the “smart kids.” They might have some insights or explanations that click for you!

Also, don’t hesitate to reach out for extra help—whether it’s from your teacher, a tutor, or online resources. There might be different ways to understand the material that you haven’t encountered yet. And remember, struggling with a subject doesn’t make you stupid; it just means you’re learning in your own way! Hang in there, and try to focus on progress, not just grades. You’ve got this!

Getting so tired of people

I’m really fed up with people lately. I just discovered that four friends I thought I could trust have been talking behind my back this whole time. To make matters worse, my closest friend knew about it but didn’t tell me because she claimed she wanted to “protect me from the truth.” This comes just […]
