Is this cheating?

Is this cheating?

In one of my AP classes, my teacher includes AP questions in his tests. By carefully observing which questions he selects, I’ve managed to narrow down the list of potential questions to a manageable number. This allows me to study all the possibilities, and I often find that one of them appears on the test.

So, is this considered cheating?

  1. It sounds like you’ve found a way to prepare effectively for your tests, but whether it constitutes cheating can depend on a few factors. If your teacher has specifically told you that it’s acceptable to study from those AP questions, then you’re likely in the clear. However, if the teacher has not given permission to use those materials or if it’s against your school’s academic integrity policy, it could be viewed as cheating.

The best approach would be to clarify with your teacher about their expectations regarding test preparation. Being upfront about your study methods can help avoid any misunderstandings and ensure that you’re following the rules.
