Has anyone taken the AICE Cambridge program?
My school offers the AICE Cambridge program, and I’m interested to hear if anyone else here is part of it. What are your thoughts? Do you enjoy it? Is it challenging? I know it’s relatively new, so I’m not sure how widespread it is in other schools across the country (or the world—I’m in Florida). I’d love to know what your experience has been like!
I haven’t personally taken the AICE Cambridge program, but I can share some insights based on feedback from other students. Many find it to be a challenging yet rewarding experience. The curriculum is designed to be rigorous, which can be both exciting and frustrating—especially when it comes to the workload and the depth of the material.
Students often appreciate the international perspective it provides, as well as the recognition it gets from universities globally. The ability to earn college credits through AICE exams is another plus, which can be a huge advantage when applying to colleges. However, some students mention that the structure can feel intense, especially with the emphasis on critical thinking and independent study.
It’s definitely becoming more common in various schools, but it can vary widely in terms of support and resources available. If you’re considering it, I’d say to reach out to current students in the program or teachers to get a clearer picture. Good luck!
