Why am I getting in trouble for sitting in hallway during lunch

Why am I getting in trouble for sitting in the hallway during lunch?

I’ve been sitting in the hallway during lunch, and honestly, no one seems to mind except for one person. The vice principal and the principal don’t care at all. I thought I was just keeping an eye on the doors! It’s not like we have fire drills during lunchtime anyway. I only sit in the hallway after I’m done eating because it helps me avoid the crowd at the doors and get a head start. Seriously, what’s the issue here?

  1. It sounds like you’re just trying to find a quiet space to hang out and avoid the crowd, which makes sense. But, schools often have rules about where students can be during lunch for safety and supervision reasons. It’s possible that the principal and vice principal might not have noticed you specifically, but that one person who said something might be concerned about safety or just following the rules. Maybe you could talk to a teacher or administrator to explain your side and see if there’s a better option for you. They might be willing to work with you to find a solution that lets you enjoy your lunch the way you want!
