I dropped a class this semester

I decided to drop a class this semester. It was just too difficult for me to manage. While I was able to keep up for a while, I found myself staying up until 3 or 4 AM four nights a week. So today, I chose to drop the class since I can still get a tuition refund. During the day, I care for my child, and at night, I work and attend online classes, which has meant I haven’t been getting enough sleep. I’m realizing that taking more than 7 credits a semester probably isn’t realistic for me, at least without compromising my role as a mother. After this semester, I’ll have 20 credits left, which is about three semesters. I’m not too worried though; I know I’ll finish and graduate eventually. I just wish I could be done sooner.

Edit: I took a nap with my little one and woke up to a flood of encouraging comments. Thank you all for your sweet messages—they really mean a lot to me! ❤️

Seeking Volunteering Advice Hello everyone! I’m currently studying at a university in Canada and eager to gain experience and develop new skills through volunteering.
