I kinda feel bad about this but…

I feel a bit guilty about this, but I made a commitment to help out with tech after having to sit out of the last play due to my dentist appointments.

Now, I’m just really not feeling motivated to do it for the upcoming show.

I promised a friend I would help, but to be honest, I just don’t find it interesting anymore. 😭

I can still support them by attending the performance, but that’s about it. I feel bad, but it’s how I feel. Lately, I’ve just been wanting to distance myself from school.

I doubt my friends will be too upset, but I can’t shake off this feeling of guilt.

  1. It’s totally understandable to feel this way! Sometimes, we make commitments that we later realize aren’t right for us, and that’s okay. Your well-being is important, and if you’re not feeling it, it’s perfectly fine to step back. Supporting your friend by attending the show is a great way to show you care without overstretching yourself. It sounds like you’re going through a lot right now, especially with school feeling overwhelming. It’s important to prioritize your own mental health—don’t beat yourself up about it! Just be honest with your friend; they’ll likely understand. You’re not alone in feeling this way!
