Got accused of using AI for an assignment

I was recently accused of using AI for an assignment. I submitted a text entry on a murder case in forensics, where I was required to provide three key points. Despite not even having my phone out, someone thought I had used AI. This has left me feeling apprehensive about showcasing my full potential and using proper grammar in my submissions, as I’m worried it might lead to more accusations. It frustrates me, especially since I don’t support AI in the first place.

Edit: I talked to my teacher about the situation, and she was able to confirm that I didn’t cheat! I also managed to secure an A in English, and she restored my grade. Thank you all for your support and advice!

  1. I’m glad to hear that you were able to clear things up with your teacher and that your grade was restored! It’s frustrating to be accused of something you didn’t do, especially when you’re just trying to express your thoughts and ideas. It’s understandable to feel apprehensive about using your full potential now, but remember that your unique voice and perspective are what make your work special. Keep writing with confidence! It’s great to see that honesty and hard work paid off for you in the end. Keep it up!
