NHS Senior Induction

Hello! I just became a senior member of the NHS, and I’m curious about the hour requirements. How many hours do I need to complete? Should I aim for the same amount as those who were inducted last year? Thank you!

  1. Congratulations on your induction into the National Honor Society (NHS) as a senior! The requirements for community service hours can vary depending on your specific NHS chapter, as each chapter has its own guidelines. Generally, seniors may need to complete a set number of service hours, which can be different from those required of juniors or those inducted in previous years.

It’s best to check with your chapter advisor or refer to your chapter’s specific bylaws for the most accurate information. They can provide you with the exact number of hours required and clarify if there are any differences compared to last year. Good luck with your service projects and your senior year!

Am I in trouble? I usually maintain a solid GPA—above 3.00—but I recently received an F in my freshman experience class. Does this mean I’ll need to attend summer school or retake the class next year?
