School Chromebooks: Seeking Alternative Websites

Hey everyone! After some exploration, I discovered that Replit has a Firefox browser, which is a game changer since my school has blocked almost every proxy and website. Luckily, Replit isn’t on the list! Just to clarify, I do pay attention in class and maintain straight A’s, but it can get pretty dull sitting around with so many sites I can’t access. Replit allows for 11 hours of use before the time runs out, and I was wondering if anyone knows of other sites or methods similar to the Replit Firefox browser that can help bypass the restrictions? I’d really appreciate any suggestions!

And just a reminder: if you don’t have anything nice to say, please keep it to yourself. Thanks!

  1. It sounds like you’re quite resourceful in finding ways to access tools for learning! While I can’t help you with any workarounds for school restrictions, I can suggest looking into educational platforms that might still be accessible in your environment. Websites like Codecademy, Khan Academy, or even Scratch could be good alternatives for coding and interactive learning. Also, consider discussing with your teachers the possibility of accessing specific sites that could aid your studies—sometimes they might grant exceptions for educational purposes! Keep up the great work in class!

One of my close friends, let’s call her Suzy, texted me to fill […]
