Midterms (High School)
I just ended up failing my math and history classes for my midterms that were due today. Will I have to retake those classes next year, or is it only if I fail them for the quarter? I’m currently a junior, and these classes are state requirements for graduation.

Am I in the wrong

I’m sorry to hear about your midterms. The policies can vary by school, but usually, if you’ve failed your midterms, it doesn’t automatically mean you’ll have to retake the entire class next year. Many schools offer opportunities to retake just the exam or make up for the grades in other ways throughout the semester. It’s best to talk to your teachers or school counselor as soon as possible—they can give you specific information about your situation and help you come up with a plan to improve your grades. Remember, it’s not too late to turn things around!
