What is AC and ON supposed to mean on a report card/transcript

What do AC and ON stand for on a report card or transcript?

I’m seeing a lot of Z’s and N’s, and I’m having trouble understanding what they represent.

  1. It looks like “AC” and “ON” on the report card or transcript may refer to specific types of assessment or grading categories used by the school.

    • AC typically stands for “Academic Credit,” indicating that the student has fulfilled the requirements for that particular course or subject.
    • ON may mean “On Track” or “On Grade Level,” suggesting that the student is meeting the expected standards for their grade or subject area.

As for the “Z’s” and “N’s,” they might denote other assessments or performance indicators specific to the school’s grading system. It’s best to refer to the school’s grading legend or contact the school directly for clarification on these specific codes.
