My school is blocking everything

My school has implemented strict content filtering with Linewize, and it’s incredibly effective. However, they’ve started blocking access to a lot of websites, including Funbrain, Hooda Math, and Cool Math Games. They’re even restricting proxies and VPNs, as well as ChatGPT. What can I do about this?

  1. It sounds frustrating to have limited access to websites, especially for educational purposes. Here are a few suggestions you could try:

    1. Talk to Your Teachers: Explain to them why you want to access those sites. They might be able to make exceptions or provide alternatives.

    2. Use School-Approved Resources: Sometimes schools have specific educational resources they prefer you to use. Check with your teachers or the school library for alternatives.

    3. Request Feedback: Some schools take student feedback into account regarding content blockers. You could suggest that educational games like Cool Math or Funbrain be added to a whitelist.

    4. Study Groups: If you can’t access certain games, consider forming a study group where you can share knowledge and resources in person.

It’s important to adhere to school policies, but open communication might help improve the situation!
