Looking for good places to take Calculus 3 over the Summer

Seeking recommendations for Summer Calculus 3 courses

I’m located in Pennsylvania, roughly 1.5 hours from Philadelphia, and I’m looking for suggestions on schools that offer quality and reasonably priced Calculus 3 programs over the summer. While I’m open to online course options, I would prefer an in-person class. Any recommendations from this community would be greatly appreciated!

  1. There are several options you might consider for taking Calculus 3 over the summer in Pennsylvania and nearby areas:

    1. Local Community Colleges: Many community colleges offer summer courses at a lower cost. Check with nearby institutions like Montgomery County Community College or Bucks County Community College to see if they have Calculus 3 available.

    2. Universities: Look into summer programs at universities such as Temple University, West Chester University, or even smaller schools like La Salle University. They often offer summer sessions for students and might have competitive pricing.

    3. Online Options: If you’re open to online courses, consider checking platforms like Coursera or edX, which sometimes feature courses in partnership with accredited universities. You might also find that some universities offer hybrid options that blend online and in-person learning.

    4. Summer Programs: Some universities have special summer programs designed for visiting students, which can be more affordable. Check the Penn State summer session offerings or the University of Pittsburgh for options.

    5. State Schools: Schools such as Shippensburg University or Bloomsburg University could also be worth exploring. They often have summer programs that are accessible and relatively affordable for local students.

Make sure to verify the credit transfer policies if you are attending a different institution than your home college, and consider reaching out to the admissions office or academic advisor for more personalized assistance. Good luck!
